Introducing the Thornton Adjustable Positioner, or TAP as we like to call it, for treating snoring/sleep apnea.
The TAP is a mandibular advancement appliance which eliminates snoring by positioning the jaw forward to prevent the soft tissues of the throat from collapsing and obstructing the airway. It is custom-molded for each patient from dental impressions and made of a durable clear acrylic similar to orthodontic retainers. The TAP snaps easily over your upper and lower teeth and its adjustable connecting hooks helps reposition the mandible forward to clear the upper airways and improve your breathing.

Operating with this dual function it is the first dental device to address the resistance to breathing in the entire upper airway (both the nose and the throat).
