Dr. David Mark, M.D.
Dr. Mark attended Stanford University and completed degrees in biology and music. He received his medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine and completed his internship at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose. Following his ophthalmology training at Stanford University, he joined the teaching faculty at Stanford. He completed a two-year fellowship in corneal disease and surgery at Harvard. He also worked as a research associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Eye Research Institute in Boston. His special interest areas are corneal diseases, laser vision correction, and cataract surgery. He is currently medical co-director of the Stanford Eye Laser Center in San Jose, California. Dr. Mark is married and has two daughters and a son. His outside interests include music, tennis, and softball.
Dr. Moshe Mendelson, OD
Dr. Mendelson, a board certified optometrist, received his Doctorate at the University of California in Berkeley in 1990. He was trained at the Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in Oakland, Pacific Presbyterian Medical Center in San Francisco, and at the Veteran's Administration at Stanford. He specializes in the fitting of contact lenses, post surgical, keratoconus, and multi-focal. He also provides ergonomic consulting services for computer users. Dr. Mendelson works with local schools to provide eye care to underprivileged children. He is married with three children and enjoys ocean kayaking.
Dr. Jennifer Wang, M.D.
Dr. Wang attended Northwestern University for her undergraduate training. She received her medical degree from Wright State University and completed her residency at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. Following her ophthalmology training at Case Western Reserve University, she went on to a fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Henry Ford Hospital System. Her specialty interests are cosmetic eyelid surgery, laser resurfacing, chemical peels, eyelid reconstruction, and tearing problems. Her outside interests include running, biking, and tennis.
Dr. Robert Kurtz, OD
Doctorate of Optometry from at Los Angeles College of Optometry. Externship at at Kaiser Permanente in Redwood City as well as U.S. Army, Fort Dix New Jersey. Special interests include comprehensive family eye care as well as specialty contact lens services. Certification for Paragon CRT.
Dr. Gilbert Ruiz, O.D.
Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Bachelor of Science in Biology from Santa Clara University. Externship at Palo Alto Veterans Hospital, Western Blind Rehabilitation Center. Special interest in pediatric and low vision rehabilitation in addition to Corneal Refractive Therapy. Certification for Paragon CRT.
