Lava Crowns & Bridges from 3M ESPE combine superior strength and durability coupled with excellent esthetics. Utilizing an innovative CAD/CAM technology, Lava crowns and bridges are produced on a zirconium-oxide glass-free polycrystalline base that result in high-strength, reliable restorations with excellent esthetics and an outstanding marginal fit. They are ideal for 3- and 4- unit bridges and suitable for both anterior and posterior applications. Eight framework shades provide for natural looking restorations.

Approved indications for use include:

Single crowns; 3 & 4 unit bridges with multiple abutments; 5 & 6 unit bridges; Splinted crowns (up to 6 units); Cantilever bridges (up to 4 units); no single abutments.

Preparations require minimal removal of tooth structure and conventional cementation techniques.
